How to specify custom brooches for production.
Brooches sit one tier above lapel pins in size, complexity and perceived value. The defining technique is cloisonne enameling — colored enamel paste fills metal compartments (cloisons), the piece is fired in a kiln, then ground flush and polished to a jewelry-grade finish.
We offer rhinestone setting in glass crystal (CZ-grade) or genuine Swarovski stones on request. Faux pearl inlays are particularly popular for bridal and women’s fashion brooches. Each stone is hand-set, so per-piece labor is higher than pins.
Standard packaging is a black velvet pouch; for retail-ready brooches we recommend our rigid gift box with foam insert (adds $0.40-0.80/pc).
