Challenge Coins
The classic military and commemorative coin — die-struck from brass or zinc-alloy, optionally enamel-filled, edge-knurled and antique-finished. We make coins for armed-forces units, police and fire departments, corporations and clubs worldwide.
What makes a great challenge coins.
Challenge coins carry a military tradition of belonging and recognition — and they live or die on the weight in your hand and the crispness of the relief. We strike ours at 3mm minimum stock (3.5-5mm for premium pieces) so the coin feels substantial, then finish with antique oxidizing to bring out the recessed detail.
The edge is half the personality of a coin. Beyond plain, we offer rope, diamond-cut, oblique-line and cross-cut knurling, plus custom edge lettering for unit mottos or serial numbering. Inside, you can mix die-struck relief with soft or hard enamel color, dual-tone plating, or 3D sculpting for crests and emblems.
We sign NDAs by default, follow your spec sheet to the letter, and archive your steel die for 5 years so a commemorative reorder next year matches the original batch exactly. Tooling fee $80-250, waived above 1,000 pcs.
