Wooden Keychains

How to specify wooden keychains for production.

Wood is having a moment with sustainability-minded brands, and it photographs beautifully on a retail peg. We cut keychains from FSC-friendly maple, walnut, beech, birch plywood and fast-growing bamboo, then decorate by laser engraving (a permanent burned relief with a natural grain contrast) or UV printing (full color, including white ink for vibrant designs).

Laser engraving is monochrome but timeless and never fades — ideal for logos, coordinates, monograms and line art. UV print lays down full-color artwork with a thin protective layer, good for illustrations and brand colors. Both can be combined on a single piece.

Each keychain is custom die-cut to your outline and fitted with a split ring, swivel snap hook, ball chain or leather strap. Lead times are short because there’s no plating or curing — samples in 4-6 days, bulk in 10-15.
