How to specify acrylic keychains for production.
Acrylic keychains have exploded in popularity since 2018, driven by anime conventions, indie illustrators, and the resale economics of fan merch. They’re cheaper than metal, lighter to ship, and the print quality lets artists reproduce their style faithfully.
Standard construction is two-layer: the artwork is offset-printed on a paper layer sandwiched between two clear acrylic shapes. For premium feel we add an epoxy dome on the front — it magnifies the printed art and creates a tactile gloss surface.
Charm-set bundles (e.g. 5 mascots sold as one product) are increasingly popular. We’ll quote bundled MOQ per charm so you only need 100 pcs of each variant, not 500.
