What makes a great custom dog tags.

Dog tags are simple stainless-steel ID plates — what matters is the stamping crispness, the rolled safety edge, and consistent personalization across a whole batch. We emboss the classic raised GI text on a roller press, or laser-engrave for finer multi-line detail, then tumble the edges smooth so they’re comfortable against the skin.

For programs that need every tag different (names, ranks, service numbers, blood type), we run variable-data engraving so a 500-piece order ships with 500 unique tags but one consistent look. Anodized aluminum adds color-coding (red, blue, black, gold) for teams or units at a low cost.

Each set can include the long 24-inch ball chain, a short chain, rubber silencers to keep them quiet, and a split ring for keychain use. Nickel-free and lead-free material is available for direct skin contact. Send your text layout and quantity for a 12-hour quote.
